"The best guesthouse area in Hongdae area, Seoul!"

"Modern guest house and very clean and well maintained. Spacious rooms and great private bathroom (spacious and separate hot shower from toilet). We stayed in a three-person room with private bath and had more than enough room for our luggage. The other rooms have the option for a shared bath and toilet, both are spacious and very clean as well so no problem.
Our host Simon was so friendly and welcoming. So easy to transact and deal with over email a few weeks before our stay. When we arrived, we truly knew we made the right choice. He made us feel like a part of his family without being intrusive. He was always ready to help out when we needed directions and suggestions on where to go around Seoul. We were so sad to leave for the airport and he even insisted on driving us to the train station so we didn't have to lug our bags through the streets."
"Cosy and homely"

Traveling from Washington, DC, I was pretty worn out by the time I got to Seoul late in the evening. Fortunately, I was able to spend a comfortable, pleasant night at the Roi House - the staff was very warm and welcoming, the room was clean and organized, and the streets were quiet, despite being located in Hongdae. Really enjoyed the complimentary breakfast and coffee as well. I am planning on returning to this house the next time I travel to Seoul, and take more advantage of the awesome location (only 10 minutes away from the main streets!). Highly recommended to anyone.

Highly recommended guest house. The location is great (near Hongdae), so there are lots of things nearby (coffee shops, restaurants, stores, etc...) and Hongik University subway station is just 5 minutes away. Also there are lots of bus stops to go everywhere.
The cleanliness of the facilities is great, rooms are quite big and with new furnitures. Kitchen is big and you can cook your own meal there and breakfast is included. I even liked the slippers!
But above all things, the staff is the best part of it!! All of them were really kind and helpful.
If you like to travel but you need to feel like your own home, this is your place to be.
